Allied Pickfords in Indonesia

In 1976, Mr. George Adam, a prominent Indonesian businessman, established the company Four Winds Indonesia.

The company continued to trade until 1988 when Mr. David Gonzalez was recruited with extensive overseas experience in the moving industry, to establish the company’s new identity in Indonesia. The company would formally change its name to Pacific Removals.

In 1991 Mr. Adam sold the company to Mr. Pitra Hanafi, a young and highly qualified professional with widespread knowledge in moving household goods. Pitra acquired his knowledge through his experience with several international moving companies. Over the years he gained valuable insight into the various roles required to run a successful international moving company.

For 10 years Pacific Removals was the authorised representative for Allied Pickfords in Indonesia. It was therefore, a natural progression that a full partnership would eventuate and in 2002 our trading name officially became Allied Pickfords Indonesia – The Careful Movers.
